19 November 2026. Here is what that means in your time zone, and what to have ready before the servers open.
The date
Grand Theft Auto VI comes out on 19 November 2026 in a single worldwide launch. The countdown on this site runs to 19/11/2026 05:00 GMT+5, which is the reference unlock moment used across the pages here.
Unlock time by region
Worldwide launches usually unlock at the same absolute moment everywhere, which means an early-morning start for some regions and an evening start for others. Convert the reference time to your own zone in advance so you are not waiting on the wrong hour.
Platforms on day one
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are the launch platforms. A PC release has historically followed later in the series, and a full mobile version of the main game is not a launch product.
How to be ready
Pre-order so the pre-load can start early, clear enough storage for the install and the day-one patch, and update your console firmware the week before. On launch night the first hours are the most congested.
Pre-Order Grand Theft Auto VI
The launch discount runs only until the release countdown ends — after that the full price applies.
